gifts-for-xmas.com was conceived and is owned by Roy Thomsitt (pictured left). He says:

"Personally, I always hated going round the stores looking for presents, especially at Christmas. Shopping online is far easier, quicker, and less stressful. But in 2004, it is still an under used form of shopping. I hope the stores featured here now and in the future will make things that much better for some of you. They have all been chosen not just because of their goods but because they provide a good online shopping experience. Not all the online stores out there do that."

Roy was born in London, and lived in England until 2000. Like many, he is not too keen on the cold and miserable English weather, and is now resident on the beautiful tropical island of Palawan in the Philippines. Roy's professional background is as a management accountant, but specialising in project management and change management. His main business interest, though, has been and is marketing.
